Bacon, Egg & Cheese Hash Brown Sandwich

4 Ore Ida hash brown patties

2 eggs

4 strips of bacon

2 slices of cheese (your choice)

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation


In a medium fry pan over medium heat add two (2) tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add the Ore Ida hash brown patties and cook until golden brown on each side. Remove from pan and set out on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Add cheese of your choice to two (2) of the still hot hash browns.

Add bacon to the same fry pan with the left over oil and cook until crispy. Remove bacon from pan and set on paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Again, in that same fry pan with the left over oil, reheat and add the eggs. Cook until desired temperature (i.e. over easy, over medium, over hard). Set egg atop of the hash brown and cheese.

Finish by adding two (2) strips of bacon and topping with a hash brown.

Preferences: for all those ketchup lovers….spread a layer of ketchup over each hash brown before adding the cheese.
