3 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, & cubed

3 Plums, pitted and sliced/cubed

3 Nectarines, pitted and sliced/cubed

1 cup seedless green grapes, halved

1 seedless Navel orange, peeled and half each slice

1 quart strawberries, quartered

1 pint blueberries

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 cup white sugar

1 tblsp honey

1/2 tsp balsamic glaze

Preparation

Fruit salad can cost so much these days so I thought an inexpensive fruit salad might appeal to you as much as it does to me!

Start by washing, coring, peeling, slicing, dicing and drying all your fruit. In a medium bowl toss in all your fruit. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, honey and balsamic glaze. Thoroughly stir until all ingredients are well coated. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

Variation: (1) Add fresh basil leaves to give your fruit salad a little something special
